Moira Walley-Beckett is out as showrunner of Amazon’s Fourth Wing adaptation, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer has signed an overall deal with Amazon MGM Studios, and is being eyed to replace Walley-Beckett as Fourth Wing showrunner. The Fourth Wing TV project hails from Amazon MGM Studios and Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society.
Walley-Beckett was a Breaking Bad writer and producer, and she created the series Anne With an E. She signed on to showrun Amazon’s Fourth Wing last summer. ‘Fourth Wing’ has not yet been ordered to series and does not have a cast attached.
Executive producers include Michael B. Jordan and Outlier president Elizabeth Raposo, the book-series’ Rebecca Yarros and the head of her publisher Entangled Publishing Liz Pelletier. Outlier Society executive vice president of TV Stefano Agosto will co-executive produce.
More to come.
